👥 Why meetings?

There are many reasons to call meetings:

1. Accountability
2. Knowledge transfer
3. Transparency
4. Status
5. Review
6. Oversight
7. Improve/maintain relationships
8. Brainstorming

However, in this age of excellent collaboration tools (Git workflows, project boards, etc.), meetings are an inefficient way to handle the first 6 items on the above list. If our workflow does not provide complete transparency into what everyone is doing, then there may be opportunities to improve our workflow.
